Boys Rep Basketball

Play Blues Basketball!

The Durham Blues REP basketball is a competitive program for boys from the ages of U9-U17. Our rep tryouts commence in August and are completed in September.

We also offer Summer Rep Basketball teams.

All Blues coaches are certified, police screened, ands appointed for each category by a board of directors. Coaches and their managers are responsible for their assigned team.

Players are exposed to top competition from October to May through local league and tournaments, where players benefit from increased visibility to University/College coaches.

Players also have the opportunity to attend our basketball clinics to further enhance their skills.

The Durham Blues Boys REP Basketball Program is affiliated with the Scarborough Basketball Association and the Ontario Basketball Association. The players who choose to try out and are chosen for the rep program must demonstrate a commitment to the program (which includes weekly practices (2), games and/or tournaments) while exhibiting a high level of athleticism and basketball skill.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT TRYOUTS

• Drills focusing on fundamentals, conditioning, and game play.
• Scrimmages to assess game IQ, teamwork, and competitiveness.
• A chance to join a team that competes in local leagues and tournaments.

COME PREPARED

• Players should arrive 15 minutes early
• Bring a basketball, water, and wear proper basketball gear.
• Registration is required before tryouts. Secure your spot by signing up today!

If you are unable to attend either session, please reach out and we can arrange a drop-in tryout on a different day.

REFUNDS
There are NO REFUNDS on program and camp purchases unless it is cancelled BY Durham Blues Basketball. If you need to cancel a program or camp, a credit will be offered if cancellation is requested prior to seven days of event. Credit will be available for six months from purchase date. No credit will be given for missing a session or day of camp regardless of when the cancellation is made.
